LCDR Quinn is in his second year at the Naval Postgraduate Dental School Endodontics program. Born and raised in Arizona, he attended Arizona State University and graduated with a bachelor’s of science in Business Supply Chain Management from the W.P. Carey School of Business in 2009. From 2011 to 2015 he attended Marquette University School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery and upon graduation was promoted to the rank Lieutenant. After completion of Officer Development School in Newport, Rhode Island, newly commissioned LT Quinn completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Naval Medical Center San Diego in 2016. From 2016 to 2018 he served aboard the USS John C. Stennis (CVN-74) as Division Officer where he participated in the 75th Commemoration of Pearl Harbor in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and earned his Surface Warfare Medical Department Officer (SWMDO). After his sea tour, LT Quinn served as part of 3D Dental Battalion, 21st Dental Company in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. While stationed with the Marines he served as Supply and Division Officer earning his Fleet Marine Force (FMF) qualification and oversaw the transition to an 84 million dollar state-of-the-art medical and dental facility.
