Second year resident at Wilford Hall US Air Force Medical Center and Captain in the USAF. I am originally from Kansas City, MO and graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in 2016. After completing a 1-year AEGD, I practiced general dentistry in the Air Force in Aviano, Italy for 3 years prior to starting my residency in endodontics. Much research has been published over the last 3-5 years about the efficacy of targeted microsurgery, but it remains unclear the extent to which these techniques are being utilized in clinical practice, and this was the question that initiated this research topic.
