I aspired to be an endodontist since undergraduate school, leading me to pursue my endodontic master’s and doctoral education in China and now at CWRU. This study aims to find out if there is relationship between persistent apical periodontitis with high PAI scores (scores 3-5) and periimplantitis and to our knowledge, no study has used PAI scores in this kind of investigation.
