Lt Col Giacomino currently serves as an Endodontist at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington D.C. and an Instructor of Endodontics for the USAF AEGD-1 residency at the 11th Dental Squadron, Joint Base Andrews. She entered the Air Force as a Test Project Engineer after graduating from the United States Air Force Academy in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry on a Health Professions Scholarship Program in 2010 and then completed a one year AEGD Residency at Andrews AFB, MD. In 2018 she completed the Endodontics Residency Program at the Air Force Post Graduate Dental School with a Master of Science in Oral Biology from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.
