This webinar gets to the root of obturation difficulties faced by many endodontists. A discussion of bioceramic sealers will highlight a paradigm shift in endodontics—a shift from “gutta-percha based obturation” to “sealer-based obturation”. With sealer-based obturation in mind, the lecture will review strategies for selecting sealers (including viscosity), placement techniques, and check-points to dense, predictable obturation. The aim is to inform attendees of obturation strategies they may implement in their practices to make the most of bioceramic sealers’ benefits—without the need for warm gutta percha!

Discern between different sealer types, consistencies, and placement strategies
Replicate strategies for predictable obturation using cold techniques, including hydraulic condensation (aka single cone) and cold lateral
Implement strategies to obturate canal intricacies—such as internal resorption and isthmuses—using cold obturation techniques
