Abstract: The Human Genome Project identified a number of facts in regards to the genotype as well as physical traits seen with genetic disorders. Attendees will participate in a hands-on activity that will result in the creation of a Pedigree Tree to identify the likely transmission patterns of some conditions or syndromes.

Learning Objectives:

Name at least 3 locations within the Cochlea in which genetic traits have been linked.
List at least 2 genetic separate hallmarks of Autosomal Recessive as well Autosomal Dominant traits.
Identify basic symbols of a Family Pedigree Tree.
