Carmen Jamis, AuD, CCC-A, is a pediatric and implant audiologist in the Head & Neck Institute at the Cleveland Clinic. She also holds positions in the Ohio Academy of Audiology, is a member of the International Ototoxicity Monitoring Working Group, and is a member of the ASHA SIG 9. Prior to her current position, Dr. Jamis was on staff at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, and Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. She was adjunct faculty at Gallaudet University and clinical faculty in the Otolaryngology Residency Program at Walter Reed. Dr. Jamis earned her Au.D. at Gallaudet University in Washington, DC. In 2014, she completed a residency in pediatric audiology at UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Jamis has a number of clinical and research interests including pediatric diagnostics, hearing implants, ototoxicity, and early access to communication for children with hearing loss.
