Alicia D.D. Spoor, Au.D. is the Lead Learning and Simulation Developer- for the Audiology vertical at Simucase. Simucase is a leading developer of clinical simulations in the professions of audiology, speech-language pathology, physical therapy, and more. The patented technology allows users, including students, to evaluate, diagnose, manage, and treat cirtual patients. Dr. Spoor develops content in addition to her full-time provider role at Designer Audiology. She earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from Gallaudet University and completed her fourth-year externship at the Mayo Clinic Arizona. Alicia is the current Academy of Doctors of Audiology Advocacy Chair and Maryland Academy of Audiology Legislative Chair. She precepts audiology doctoral students in her practice and serves on the Osborne College of Audiology College Advisory Board at Salus University. Dr. Spoor is a past recipient of ADA’s Craig W. Johnson Advocacy Award and MSU’s College of Communication Arts & Sciences’ Outstanding Alumni.
