Markus Meis, PhD, is Head of the department Marketing & Innovation at Hörzentrum Oldenburg gGmbH, and is part-time lecturer at the Jadehochschule Oldenburg. He received his Ph.D. in Medical Psychology from Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich in 1997, and was a postdoctoral fellow at the Oldenburg Graduate School of Psychoacoustics from 1997 to 1999. Markus Meis is coordinator of publicly financed projects, such as Health Services Research in the domain of Audiology, Man-Machine interaction, and Requirements analyses. Furthermore, he coordinates projects in the realm of industrial contract research, especially for the hearing aid and CI industry, regarding the topics e-health and m-health, audiology, and usability. He is engaged in standards committees such as the DIN 18041 ("Acoustic quality in rooms - Specifications and instructions for the room acoustic design").
