Dr. Emily Buss received her PhD from the Department of Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, under the mentorship of Drs. Joseph Hall and John Grose. She is presently a Professor and Vice Chair for Research in Otolaryngology at the University of North Carolina, School of Medicine. Her research interests are auditory development, speech perception, effects of hearing loss, and basic psychoacoustics.
