As an assistant professor of practice at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Hannah Ditmars teaches Auditory Electrophysiological Assessment and Humanitarian Audiology while also working with audiology graduate students in the Barkley Speech Language and Hearing Clinic. She enjoys the variety of working with patients of all ages, but has a particular interest in tele-practice and pediatrics, including Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) testing. Dr. Ditmars earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Manchester College and her Clinical Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2009. Her externship gave her experience in both private practice and educational settings. Dr. Ditmars then spent three years working at an otolaryngology practice before joining the faculty at Nebraska in 2014. Since 2016, Hannah has co-led a study abroad program for audiology graduate students to Nicaragua and collaborated with faculty at the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua in Leon (UNAN-Leon) to provide sustainable hearing health care. Dr. Ditmars also works on curriculum development both at UNL and UNAN-Leon.
