Rachel A. Scheperle, AuD, PhD, CCC-A, is a pediatric audiologist at St. Joseph Institute for the Deaf where she serves children ages 0 - 3 years old as a Missouri First Steps Provider and school-aged children pre-K through 12th grade as the educational audiologist for the Francis Howell School District. She formerly held a position as assistant professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Montclair State University, where she taught courses in auditory anatomy and physiology, implantable auditory devices, instrumentation, and electrophysiological techniques. Her research interests include developing and evaluating the incorporation of objective assessments of the auditory system and assistive device function to inform clinical decision making.
