Emily Parks is currently a 2nd year AuD student at Gallaudet University. She graduated from East Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and a minor in Communicative Disorders. During her time in undergraduate school, she worked as a physical therapy technician, where she was first introduced to vestibular rehabilitation and diagnostics. She also spent a year in a leadership-focused discipleship program in Tyler, Texas before coming to Gallaudet to pursue her doctorate. She is interested in looking into pediatric vestibular assessment and rehabilitation. Outside of academics she enjoys spending quality time with friends, spending time outside, and learning to play the piano.
