My name is Reyse Stirett and I am currently a 2nd year AuD student at East Carolina University. My research I am presenting is titled "The Effect of Tinnitus on Speech Perception in Noise Ability". I work in the Speech Perception Lab as the Lab Manager. I have been working in the lab since Summer of 2020. Our research primarily focuses on factors that may influence one's speech perception in noise abilities such as musical experience, pure tone averages (PTA), dialect, and tinnitus.
