Rebekah is a third-year doctor of audiology student at UT Dallas. She earned a bachelors of science in speech, language, and hearing sciences from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She has worked with Dr. Linda Thibodeau since her first semester at UT Dallas and has contributed to the Smartphone-Based Open Research Platform for Hearing Improvement study. She currently serves at the national Student Academy of Audiology Board of Directors Programs Committee Co-Chair for 2021 to 2022. She also serves as the UT Dallas student liaison for the Texas Academy of Audiology. Rebekah has a background in research on bimodal users, specifically temporal and spectral integration of consonants. Her interests include advocacy, aural rehabilitation, and assistive listening technology.
