Margaret Winter, MS, CCC-A, Board Certified in Audiology
Ms. Winter has been a clinical audiologist and teacher for more than 40 years. She has worked in such well known settings as the Otosurgical Group Medical Clinic, the House Ear Institute Children’s Auditory Research and Evaluation Center, and the University of Southern California’s Caruso Family Center for Childhood Communication. For 10 years she also taught courses in audiology and hearing devices for the John Tracy Center’s master’s degree program in Deaf Education. She has been a frequent presenter on hearing aids and cochlear implants at local and international seminars in several cities across the country. She has also published and presented extensively on infant hearing assessment, hearing aid fitting, and auditory neuropathy. She was a member of the Los Angeles Pediatric Auditory Brainstem Implant research team with colleagues from USC, Los Angeles Children’s Hospital, and Huntington Research Institutes, conducting FDA clinical trials studying the auditory brainstem implant in young children. For the past two years she has been the Clinic Director at the California State University Los Angeles Hearing and Balance Center where she supervises clinical education and teaches coursework in the Doctor of Audiology program.
