Reem Mulla is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Health Communication Sciences, College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University. Dr. Mulla received her Bachelor of Science degree in 2006 from King Saud University, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Mulla received her AuD then PhD degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Pittsburgh in 2011 and 2018, respectively. Dr. Mulla has worked as a clinical audiologist at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) for over a year. In Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University, Dr. Mulla gained three years of professional experience in academic teaching and management and is now appointed as the Vice Dean of Educational Affairs in the College of the Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. Dr. Mulla is a fellow member of the American Academy of Audiology, and the Saudi Society for Speech-language Pathology and Audiology. She is a licensed audiologist in the US by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and in Saudi Arabia by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. Dr. Mulla’s special areas of interest in audiology include amplification, psychoacoustics, and interventional audiology.
