Abstract: The traditional model of hearing aid dispensing is under attack from every direction. Both Audiologists and their patients have already started to feel the impact of these changes in the past few years. These changes have been so swift and drastic that profession of Audiology is now on a collision course with obsolescence when it comes to hearing aid dispensing. The question becomes, can we adapt to these changes in-order-to save our profession? Some will, most will not.
