Abstract: Improving the patient experience can organically benefit a practice—and the profession as a whole—by helping build a positive reputation, strengthening consumer loyalty, and boosting utilization of services. A panel consisting of clinicians, a consumer advocate, and an industry researcher will discuss how an emphasis on hearing accessibility would manifest in various aspects of audiological practice. Panelists will share examples of successful marketing collateral and offer strategic insights gleaned from years of accessibility-focused community marketing that have demonstrably elevated the ‘Five-Star’ practices that have embraced a role in advancing local accessibility advocacy efforts.
