After meeting the threshold of a minimum 10 states’ adoption of the compact, the Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Interstate Compact was enacted. The compact commission, including representatives of the participating states, are meeting to establish the framework for the compact and to make decisions about the infrastructure needed to supports its successful implementation. Efforts continue to expand adoption of the compact across the United States beyond the current 15.
