Amy Brown, M.S.Ed., is a research associate at the Community College Research Center at Teachers College, Columbia University. She conducts qualitative research on STEM education, institutional supports for faculty learning, teaching and learning, and community colleges implementing guided pathways reforms. Her current projects include the Postsecondary Teaching with Technology Collaborative, an NSF project focused on the potential for guided pathways reforms to address barriers to student access to and success in STEM programs, and a study to investigate the costs required to administer the Federal Work-Study Program.
