Dr. Sarah E. Golding has a PhD in Cancer Molecular Biology specializing in the development of radiosensitizers. Sarah is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she also acts as the Director of Undergraduate Research.
Since 2010, Sarah has led a number of Undergraduate Research Training Programs funding by NIGMS. This work informed her deep commitment to inclusion in STEM. As part of the VCU HHMI Inclusive Excellence leadership team she has expanded her work into faculty development. Most recently she was the lead for the "Leader's for Inclusive Learning" program: A year-long leadership development program rooted in Inclusive teaching focused on creating a equity-minded Faculty.
