Carlotta Antoniotti is Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Pisa and a PhD student and a in Clinical Pathophysiology at the University of Pisa. Following a degree in Medicine in 2011 and a specialization in Medical Oncology in 2017 at the University of Pisa, she entered the PhD program. She is mainly committed to the clinical management of patients affected by gastrointestinal malignancies. In addition to caring for patients, she has been actively engaged in national and international collaborative clinical and translational research projects in the field of colorectal oncology. She actively contributes to clinical trials by the GONO Foundation and, as a translational interest, she is especially involved in the identification of potential molecular predictors of benefit from systemic treatments. She has co-authored more than 40 peer-reviewed publications regarding colorectal cancer and has received Merit Award at 2016 ASCO Annual Meeting.
