Dr. Baidoun is a Clinical Associate Staff in the Cleveland Clinic Department of Hospital Medicine. He received his medical degree from University of Aleppo, Faculty of Medicine in Syria. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Mayo Clinic Division of Hematology before he started his Internal Medicine Residency at University of Florida-College of Medicine.
Dr. Baidoun has great interest in the oncology field and more specifically in the gastrointestinal malignancy. He worked on different large database projects, and he has published multiple research articles and presented several abstracts in different conferences and meetings including American Society of Hematology and American Society of Clinical Oncology meetings.
He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine of the Cleveland Clinic Learner College of Medicine (CCLCM) of Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) and an active member of American Society of Hematology (ASH) and American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). He is a volunteer reviewer of different peer reviewed journals including Journal of Cancer Biology and International Journal of Colorectal Disease. He is also a member of ASCO Question Writing Group.
