Paul Ross is a Consultant Medical Oncologist at Guy’s & St Thomas’ and King’s College Hospitals and Honorary Senior Lecturer at King’s College London. He specialises in the treatment of Gastro-intestinal malignancies focussing on colorectal cancer and hepatic, pancreatic and biliary (HPB) cancers. He is the Medical Information Officer for Cancer. He is Clinical Lead for the Multi-disciplinary HCC service at King’s College Hospital. In 2019 he became a member of NHS England’s Chemotherapy Clinical Reference group. His research interests are focussed around systemic therapies, personalised therapy, pharmacogenomics, interventional oncology and clinical trials.
Paul trained in Medical Oncology at the Royal Marsden Hospital and the Institute of Cancer Research where he was a Cancer Research Campaign Clinical Fellow. His Research was acknowledged by the award of the McElwain prize from the Association of Cancer Physicians and a Merit award from the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
