Désirée Deandreis is a nuclear medicine physician, Chief of Nuclear Medicine Division at AOU Città della Salute e della Scienza of Turin (Italy) since 2019 and Associate Professor and Director of Residency program of Nuclear Medicine at University of Turin since 2016. From 2006 and 2016 she spent 10 years as nuclear medicine physician at Gustave Roussy (Villejuif, France) with appraisal of the application of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine mainly in the field of endocrine tumors and prostate cancer. Furthermore, she spent 1 year at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer center in New York as Visiting investigator. Since several years her clinical and research activity is focused on the theranostic approach in Nuclear Medicine and Oncology, through the application of Molecular Imaging with diagnostic PET tracers as true “biomarkers” to improve knowledge of tumoral biology, to select the best treatment choice including radioligand therapy and application of advanced images analysis by artificial intelligence. PI and co Pi in several clinical trials, she is author of more than 100 original articles and active member of Committee and Educational program of European Association of Nuclear Medicine.
