Dr Harpreet Wasan is consultant & Reader in medical oncology & Leads the Gastrointestinal Clinical Research Programme & GI clinical trials at the Hammersmith Hospital, Imperial College London. His research interests are gastrointestinal malignancies, particularly CRC, Biliary, Pancreatic Cancer & CUP. He has led and participated in trials that led to new standards of care & is particularly involved in designing and running novel paradigm & interventional trials, including non-drug interventions in cancer. He is Lead for the UK NIHR NW London & National NIHR HPB sub-speciality lead & UK National GeCIP lead for the CUP Domain (NHSE 100k genomes). He has translational research projects in pancreatic cancer studying synergistic therapy approaches.
