I graduated as a Clinical Specialist in Gerontology from UCLA /School of Nursing.
In July 2007, I retired after 20 years of service as Co-Director of the Wound Care Center at Kaiser Permanente Hospital, Bellflower, CA. and was employed at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital as the Wound/Ostomy Care Consultant until 2019.
My 60 years of nursing has been filled with many significant milestones. I had the great honor to be the Founder and Co-Chair Emeritus for the Annual Advanced Wound Care Symposium (SAWC) and a founding board member and first president of the Association For The Advancement Of Wound Care (AAWC). It is my honoryearly, to attend the Spring and Fall SAWC Symposiums as a member of the Host Committee.
