Having the ability to debride wounds using various methods is not only a need but a necessity. Not every wound can be safely debrided using surgical methods either due to the condition of the wound or patient complications. When this arises, it is ideal to have non-surgical debridement modalities as an option. This session will address non-surgical debridement modalities (enzymatic, biological, chemical, and non-contact) for the complicated wound bed and/or patient.
