Session Description: For over two years, in partnership with numerous local stakeholders, Oral Health Ohio has used design thinking to engage the community, build consensus and define actionable goals for advancing value-based care in oral health, with a focus on medical-dental integration. This session will detail the methods used to find consensus and build community engagement in the strategic planning of an integrated, value-based quality improvement project aimed at demonstrating the value of oral health in overall health.

Explore design processes to build engagement and consensus among various and diverse community stakeholders
Identify methods to enhance community engagement with quantitative and qualitative insights from local partners, including area-level measures of social determinants of health (SDOH).
