Session Description: The St. David's Foundation Mobile Dental Program has been in existence since September 2000. With a fleet of nine mobile dental clinics, the program offers free dental screenings, sealants, and acute care to students at Title I elementary schools within six Independent School Districts and four charter school networks in Central Texas. During the first stages of the Pandemic, the St. David's Foundation Dental Program was figuring out how to work through a few restraints brought on by schools to assure that quality care could continue to be provided for all students. Through constant communication and adaptability, the St. David's Dental Program kept treatment running by following seven steps to help build the Strategic Planning Process: Mindset, Purpose, Strengths, Trust, Collaboration, Accountability, and Adaptability. Complex Care Program specifically used alternative communication, as the prominent adaptability during COVID, where the essential component was to help the population served.
