Mingming Lu: Professor, Dpet. of Chemical and Environmental Engineering. Univ. of CIncinnati. She has more than 20 years of experience in studying combustion related air quality issues, which includes experimental design, instrumental analysis and formulation of reaction pathways of pollutant formation. She studied PAH and soot formation from reactive precursors, sewage sludge incineration in waste water treatment plants, and thermal generation of tire derived fuel, etc. This work to develop a low cost treatment technology of PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls) in 2015 (CEG P30ES006096) was supported by Phase I and Phase II (SV839354, 2 years) funding from the EPA P3 (people, planet and prosperity) program.
