Karen M. Schkolnick is the Director of the Strategic Incentives Division at the Bay Area Air Quality Management District. In this role, she leads and oversees the team that awards approximately $100 million annually from local, state and federal sources that are awarded to incentivize early and surplus emissions reductions from projects that reduce air pollution and greenhouse gases. Ms. Schkolnick received a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from Oberlin College and has been a Registered Environmental Health Specialist with the State of California’s Department of Health Services since 2000.
