Eric Peters is an Air Dispersion Modeler for the Air Quality Bureau of the New Mexico Environment Department and has Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Biology from the University of Illinois and a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Kansas. Eric has worked for the Air Quality Bureau of the New Mexico Environment Department since November 1997. He has reviewed modeling for countless sources, mainly minor sources. He has planned and performed modeling for general permits for oil and gas sources, concrete batch plants, gravel crushers, and asphalt plants. He has created computer programs to extract data from databases and provide output in AERMOD input format. He has also written programs to calculate and report emissions and to import and export various types of air modeling inputs and outputs.
