Dr. Jae Young Kim is full professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Seoul National University. He received his BS and MS from Seoul National University and PhD from University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has been the president of Korea Society of Waste Managment since 2022 and a member of Korea National Academy of Engineering. Recently, he conducted researches for the fate and trnasport of air pollutants including particlaute matter in the waste management sector. He is a member of the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) and International Waste Working Group (IWWG). He plays the role of the associate editors of international journals, Waste Management and Journal of Material Cycles & Waste Management.
