Dr. Thomas Sterr is a circular economy expert with interests in climate change, sustainable development, resource efficiency, metropolitan regions, and regional systems. He currently serves as Representative of a professorship on Climate Change Management and Engineering (and dean of studies of this course) at the School of Engineering and Architecture of SRH Heidelberg University of Applied Sciences. He also serves in volunteer roles as Director German Side, DCAD (Deutsch-Chinesische Akademische Dienste) gGmbH); First Chairman of INSPIRE (Institute for Sustainability in Institutions and Regional Environments); guest lecturer for Waste Management at the Faculty of Urban Studies of the Technical University of Berlin (TUB) Univ. Campus El Gouna (Egypt); and guest teacher at the Waldorf School of Heidelberg.
