James Adams, a Chemical Engineer at Yorke Engineering, has air quality permitting and compliance experience at petroleum refining, petroleum recycling, beverage recycling, groundwater treatment, oil production, catalyst manufacturing, power producing, and various other types of facilities under the jurisdiction of the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD). This experience has included permitting, auditing, health risk assessments/air dispersion modeling, development of compliance tools, in-depth analysis of continuous emissions monitoring system (CEMS)/continuous parameter monitoring system (CPMS) data, and negotiations with the SCAQMD. Mr. Adams is familiar with a variety of air emission estimation techniques, including mass balances, TANKS, source tests, and AP-42, and various types of greenhouse gas emissions reporting protocols/tools (California Climate Action Registry, AB 32, SANGEA).
