Dr. Chung-Shin Yuan is a Distinguished Professor of Institute of Environmental Engineering at National Sun Yat-Sen University in Taiwan. He received his doctoral degree of environmental engineering at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) in 1989. His research field covers indoor/outdoor air quality monitoring, advanced air pollution control technology, and photocatalytic science and technology. Recent studies focused on urban and marine aerosol, atmospheric speciated mercury measurement, photocatalytic degradation of VOCs and Hg0, and on-line monitoring of greenhouse gas emissions. Dr. Yuan serves as the Associate Editor of JA&WMA and the Senior Editor of AAQR and ASE, and is recognized as the fellow of A&WMA and TAAR. Dr. Yuan has published 168 SCI journal papers and 758 conference papers, and owned 19 invention patents of Taiwan, USA, and China.
