Will Morgan, Ph.D., P.E., is an environmental engineer with Eastern Research Group, Inc. (ERG) who has managed and executed a variety of technical and scientific projects for the U.S. Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) and other government agencies. Dr. Morgan’s work frequently involves the development and maintenance of scientific computational tools including environmental modeling software, large-scale environmental databases, and programs to assist with environmental data analysis. He is experienced in leading teams of scientists and developers through different phases of program design including identification of feature requirements, user interface design, program development, and final testing. His proficiency in multiple programming languages and his strong background evaluating contaminant fate and transport and environmental exposures enable him to develop high-quality products quickly and efficiently. Dr. Morgan’s work for ATSDR includes development of the ATSDR Shower and Household Water-Use Exposure Model, development of the ATSDR Exposure Point Concentration Tool, and management of ERG’s support for ATSDR’s vapor intrusion investigation at U.S. Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. Dr. Morgan received his Ph.D. from Georgia Tech in 2014, where he developed a novel method for modeling hydraulic fracturing for his dissertation. He is currently located in Atlanta.
