Michael Niemet of Jacobs is a Senior Technologist and registered Professional Engineer with over 25 years of professional experience in the field of site characterization and remediation for a variety of commercial and federal clients. He has 14 years of experience providing technical oversight of projects dealing with vapor intrusion evaluation and mitigation. His project settings have included residential areas, mixed commercial and residential areas, as well as industrial sites. Other experience includes innovative developments in the areas of building pressure-cycling and he is a co-inventor of a patented passive sampling device for the measurement of vapor intrusion through cement slabs. He has presented at multiple conferences and his work has been published in numerous journals and periodicals.
