John Freim has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois and a Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of California, San Diego. Beyond this, he has over 30 years of experience in the research, development, and manufacturing of engineered materials with an emphasis of the colloidal processing of nanopowders. At REGENESIS, Dr. Freim's primary focus is developing and manufacturing advanced materials used in environmental remediation. These include the colloidal ZVI product S-MicroZVI, and colloidal carbon products PlumeStop and PetroFix. Dr Freim has served as the Principal Investigator for over 20 federally funded research programs and is the author of 10 patents.
