Vikram Ravi has a doctorate in engineering science and currently serves as a research scientist in the Strategic Energy Analysis Center at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. At NREL, he analyzes the environmental impacts of energy systems transition. He uses state-of-the-science chemical transport models, reduced-complexity models, and machine learning techniques to assess and quantify air quality and public health co-benefits from biofuel generation and use, vehicle electrification, and decarbonization in the power sector.
