Doug Huxley is a greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting expert with Jacobs and brings 20 years of carbon and climate change management expertise and 35 years total of environmental consulting experience. He has led GHG accounting and reduction projects for clients in chemicals, oil & gas, manufacturing, steel, aluminum, semiconductors, water, wastewater, highway transportation, airports and marine ports, city government, military installations, and other sectors. He contributed to the technical working groups on two GHG Protocol standard and the TCR Energy-Water-GHG guidance and leads Jacobs projects throughout the world. Before specializing in GHG management, he led and delivered projects in air quality management, wastewater engineering, environmental compliance auditing, and contaminated site cleanup. Doug’s college education was in chemical engineering, and he is a licensed professional engineer in four states.
