My name is Roya Mortazavi. I currently conduct environmental research at McGill University. I hold a Ph.D from the Department of Experimental Surgery at McGill University. My educational background consists of a Master of Science (Department of Pathology, McGill University), a Graduate Diploma in Ecotoxicology (Department of Biology, Concordia University), and a Bachelor of Science specialization in Biochemistry (Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry, Concordia University). My previous projects have dealt directly with human health, and evaluation of the risk assessment of environmental chemical substances on human health. I have done research on the purification of contaminated water from microbial. I have also examined the role of bioaerosol (bacteria and fungi) in the quality of air, preparation of risk assessments of air pollutants, such as particulate matter (PM) for human health using both in vitro and in vivo studies, as well as the impact of microbial in the formation of snow, and ice nucleation.
