I am working as Scientist – ‘C’ at Meteorological Centre Bhubaneswar, India Meteorological Department. I worked as Post - Doctoral Fellow at IIT Bhubaneswar, Odisha (2019 -2021) and National Post-Doctoral Fellowship at National Atmospheric Research Laboratory (NARL), Gadanki, Andhra Pradesh (2017 - 2019) and it was funded by DST SERB. I completed by Ph D in 2016. I also completed the UN SATMET PG Diploma course and M. Tech. also in satellite meteorology and global climate at Space Application Centre Ahmedabad in 2015 with Third rank.
My Ph D work is related to studying the formation and maintenance mechanism of monsoon low-level inversion (MI) over the Arabian Sea from satellite sounders, reanalysis data and Model simulations. My research interest includes Monsoon inversion, modelling related to pollution, Dust transport, and Trajectory analysis using FLEXPART, HYSPLIT.
