Ramine Cromartie joined the WSPA team in January 2021 as Southern California Region Manager, Regulatory Affairs. In her role, she works with the refineries and South Coast Air Quality Management District in rule development.
Prior to joining WSPA, Ramine worked for Marathon Petroleum as a Refinery Planning Engineer. She was responsible for managing the sales and production plans for liquified petroleum gases and petroleum coke. Her previous experience includes work in process safety management systems, process technology studies, and environment, health & safety programs.
Ramine earned a Master of Business Administration from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering at Stanford University. Ramine has had a passion for education and outreach. In addition to serving on YPAC as part of the A&WMA Technical Council Liaison team, she has also volunteered for organizations like the National Society of Black Engineers and Girls Inc. to help support the success of future generations of STEM professionals.
