Kaitlyn Watkins currently works as a Senior Environmental Specialist for Florida Power & Light, a subsidiary of NextEra Energy, based in West Palm Beach, Florida. In her current position, Kaitlyn works as an internal environmental auditor, inspecting fossil power plants and renewable projects. Prior to this role, Kaitlyn specialized in air quality permitting, compliance and due diligence work for fossil power plants and renewable projects. She graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Chemistry and Geography and a certificate in Meteorology. Kaitlyn is currently pursuing an M.B.A. from Florida Atlantic University and expected to graduate this summer!
