Charles E. Baukal, Jr., Ph.D., Ed.D., P.E., QEP is the Director of the Koch Engineered Solutions Institute which is part of John Zink Hamworthy Combustion where he has been since 1998. He has over 40 years of industrial combustion experience with particular emphasis on reducing air pollution emissions and on heat transfer. He has over 35 years of experience as an adjunct instructor in engineering and teaches for many universities. He has authored/edited 17 books on the subjects of industrial combustion and engineering education. He is an author/presenter on over 250 publications and presentations. He is an inventor on 11 U.S. patents and serves on many advisory boards.
