Karen Brignac is Director – EHS for Deltech Monomers OpCo, LLC in Baton Rouge, LA responsible for all environmental, health, safety and security at facilities in Baton Rouge and Troy, Ohio.
Prior to rejoining Deltech, Karen was a Senior Compliance Expert for PPM Consultants, Inc. Baton Rouge office. PPM is a consulting firm with offices throughout the southeast specializing in permitting, compliance and remediation.
Prior to joining PPM in 2004, Karen was Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager at Deltech Corporation for 10 years. She also worked at Georgia Gulf Corporation and Cabot Corporation. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
Karen served as the Louisiana Section Treasurer from 2007-2008, Vice-Chair 2011-2012, Chair 2013-2014, Past Chair 2015-2016 and on the Fall Conference Planning Committee. She was also the Technical Program Vice-Chair for the 2016 Annual Conference and Exhibition held in New Orleans. She is currently active on the A&WMA Technical Council as the Chair of the Industry and Nanotechnology Division.
