Robert Mentzer has over 25 years of experience in airport environmental noise and air quality studies with HMMH. Robert has been the project manager or lead technical analyst in the preparation of noise contours for over 60 airports, including Part 150 Land Use Compatibility Planning Studies, NEPA Studies, (EAs and EIS), Airport Master Plan Studies, and other studies concerning airport noise. He is the noise lead for the Terminal Area Program Environmental Assessment for Chicago O'Hare International Airport and is currently managing Part 150 and NEPA studies at several other airports around the country. Robert also actively manages several on-call contracts and projects at several major and GA airports.
He has a long history of working with FAA’s INM and AEDT models and previously participated in the Design Review Group testing both models. He has been a member of AWMA for most of his career. He is currently the Chair of the Transporation Division (ET) and has previouly served as ET Vice-Chair and Chair and Vice-Chair of the Community Noise and Vibration committee.
